Packing the organic colours
Use of colours to celebrate holi is believed to have originated in Vrindavan during the childhood of Lord Krishna. Initially red was the only colour used without water. Today there are a multitude of colours, Red represents fertility, Green symbolises spring, yellow represents sunshine and so on. To get the fun element we also have water balloons and pichkari or water guns. There was a phase in India where too much of toxic colours had entered in the market. They are still sold but now the awareness about organic colours has made necessary changes in the market. So this holi carry organic colours to use and gift organic colours to others too.
While most colour manufacturer brands have moved to having organic colours in their product list they still have the plastic and uninteresting packing. Most custom gift hampers still have plastic packing used which is environmentally harmful. So here are some packing ideas for organic colours.

Jute fibre comes from the jute plant which is extensively grown in India and Bangladesh. Infact these two countries account for the bulk of the production, mostly by small farmers.
